The sning is a passenger of the slumbering mind, a tinkering imp afloat in constant mischief. While most anthropologists relegate the sning to the realm of randomized electronic impulses, Charles Darwin is known to have shouted about the creature on several occasions, most notably while imbibing spoiled gin on a steamboat in 1826.
